| The Wild Animal Park is a conservation preserve as much as a zoo, the animals run free
in large enclosures and the people are contained. Built in Northern San Diego County
near Escondido they were able to acquire sufficient land for open grazing areas.
They have bred and returned to the wild several endangered species.
It is part of the San Diego Zoo.
It is almost like being on safari. |
