Elevators in the Hyatt Hotel in San Francisco. We spent
a lot of time in the Hyatt, the rooms were stepped over an
inside open area that was very comfortable lounging.

The Long Beach oil rigs were covered up with shaped
buildings, colored lights, plants and waterfalls.
Made them very pretty, opposed to oil derricks.

My first wife was from Massachusetts, so we made a few
trips back there to visit. Area is highly steeped in history.

River Trip |
 |
We took a trip out to `The River' once with three other couples.
Rented a houseboat and cruised, fished, swam and played cards. A great way to
vacation with a group.

I did not realize it at the time but a trip up
to Vancouver, B. C. was our first date.

The hotel balcony, we woke up to a dusting of snow it was
a nice touch.
